Villa Vilan, czyli idealne miejsce na nocleg w Smalandii / Perfect place to stay in Småland

Jadąc na kilka dni do Smalandii wiedzieliśmy, że nie interesuje nas nocowanie w hotelu. Z resztą w tej okolicy wybór jest niewielki, a ceny… szwedzkie. Tak, więc bardzo łatwo podjęliśmy decyzje o zarezerwowaniu noclegów w uroczej Villi Vilan.
Villan Vilan to B&B położone w wiosce Galtås, 25 km na północ od Värnano. W okolicy nie ma nic oprócz pól, łąk i lasów. Najbliższy sklep jest w Skillingaryd, ok 10 km dalej. Nam to jednak zupełnie nie przeszkadzało, a cisza i spokój panujące w Galtås są uzależniające (na kilka dni). Właścicielami B&B jest Niemka i Szwajcar, którzy, zauroczeni szwedzka wsią, przeprowadzili się do Smalandii kilkanaście lat temu i zamieszkali na farmie. Obecnie hodują tam krowy, świnie i kury. I prowadzą przeurocze B&B. My mieliśmy do swojej dyspozycji cały aneks złożony z 2 sypialni, łazienki i jadalni. Oprócz tego mogliśmy skorzystać z kuchni i oczywiście ogrodu. Poza naszymi pokojami w Villi Vilan jest jeszcze jeden czy dwa pokoje gościnne, a oprócz tego można wynająć jeden z pobliskich czerwonych domów, również należących do tych samych właścicieli.
Pokoje były przestronne i wygodne, a śniadanie obfite i bardzo smaczne. Codziennie świeże jajka prosto od kury, miód z własnej pasieki i chleb wypiekany przez właścicieli. Dzieci pochłaniały podwójne porcje wszystkiego. Oprócz tego dzieci miały okazje zaprzyjaźnić się z lokalną kotką oraz nakarmić rano świnki.
Adaś, kiedy obudził się w samochodzie pod naszym domem w Bunkeflo i zorientował się gdzie jesteśmy, wpadł w płacz, że on chce z powrotem do Czerwonego Domu. To chyba najlepsza reklama 🙂

– Miasteczko Westernowe High Chaparall w odległości 25 min

Zapamiętajcie koniecznie jeżeli będziecie się wybierać w te okolice!

When we were planning our trip to Småland for a few days, we knew that we were not interested in sleeping in the hotel. Anyway in this area the choice is quite limited, and prices are, well, Swedish. So it was a very easy decision to book our accommodation in the charming Villa Vilan.
Villan Vilan is a B&B located in the village of Galtås, 25 km north of Värnano. There is nothing around it, except of fields, meadows and forests. The nearest store is in Skillingaryd, about 10 km away. However, this did not bother us at all, as the peace and quiet prevailing in Galtås are addictive (for a few days). The owners of the B&B is a German-Swiss couple, who, enchanted by the Swedish countryside, moved to Småland 20 years ago and settled on the farm. They currently breed cows, pigs and chickens. And they run this cosy B&B. At our disposal, we had the entire annex consisting of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a dining room. In addition, we could use the kitchen and of course the garden. Beside our annex, Villa Vilan has one or two more guest rooms, and you can also rent one of the nearby red houses, also belonging to the same owners.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast rich and delicious. Every day we were getting fresh eggs straight from the hen, honey from their own apiary and bread baked by the owners. The children consumed double portions of everything. In addition, the children had the opportunity to make friends with the house cat and feed the pigs in the morning.
When Adam woke up in the car outside our house in Bunkeflo and realized where we were, he cried that he wanted to go back to the Red House. This would probably be the best advertisement you can get 🙂
